Doja Cat has partnered with the American Red Cross to create a merch collection to benefit those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
The fire broke out in the Pacific Palisades and emerged in the Hollywood Hills, Pasadena, Altadena, Sylmar, and Calabasas.
On Instagram, the singer wrote, “Please help me and @americanredcross support my beautiful state of California. 100% of proceeds go to American Red Cross to support the people of California affected by the wildfires.”
The rapper designed the merch collection with artist Pini which features T-shirts and hoodies.
In one of the graphics, the “Paint the Town Red” singer is hugging California while wearing a dress made of ocean waves while another depicts the singer riding California like a surfboard.
Pini spoke out about the wildfires stating, “LA has been my home for the last ten years, to see the destruction of these fires over the last couple of days has been devastating.”
While fans don’t know if the singer’s home was affected, the studio where her 2023 Scarlet album was created was burned down.
“Harbor was taken from so many artists who cared so deeply about Harbor.
It was a place of musical freedom… a sanctuary in the most literal sense of the word,” the “Demons” owner Zach Brandon expressed.
